There are many small groups that are a part of Peace Lutheran.
Peace Lutheran Church Women (PLCW) meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 11:30. They begin with a lunch and then move on to their meeting which includes devotions a speaker or presentation. PLCW puts on the annual Early Country Christmas Bazaar the first weekend in November each year. The monies raised at this bazaar supports various missions as well as our church kitchen. PLCW puts on other events throughout the year.
Their next meeting on February 6 and the topic will be “Healthcare”.
Men’s Breakfast meets the second and third Saturdays of each month at 8am. They fix themselves a hearty pancake breakfast and study the gospel text for the next Sunday. Those who attend include men from several of our local congregations.
Circles small group bible study/activity groups. Lydia Circle meets the first Monday of the month at 5:30. Naomi Circle meets the second Wednesday of the month in the fireside room. They discuss bible studies found in the Gather magazine. The current bible study is called, “Meetings with Jesus”. Esther Circle meets at 11:30 the same day at a restaurant of their choosing.
Youth & Family includes many different activities both outdoor and indoor. Watch the newsletter to see what events are planned. Youth and Family events are open to all ages.
Self Help Groups: Peace Lutheran is the location to find a variety of self-help meetings. AA meets Tuesday and Friday at noon. There is an AA just for women on Mondays at 10am. Al Anon meets on Wednesdays at 10:30am. Pills Anonymous meets on Mondays at 5pm.
Lutheran World Relief Quilters meet on the third Thursday of each month. No quilting experience is required.
