PEACE begins with a smile.
A small town welcome...
...a spacious place to grow
Caring for all of God's creatures...
On September 5 we will begin a new Sunday morning worship schedule.
At 8:30 am we will continue offering a parking lot Drive-in Worship at Peace. You may join us virtually for this service via Facebook Live on our Peace FB page. At 10:00 am we will gather for indoor worship in the main sanctuary. We will continue to require masks indoors and physical distancing.
You are welcome to join us at the service which best fits your needs at this time.
For those unable to join us, we will continue to make recordings of our weekly drive-in worship available here, on our FaceBook page. The most current reflections can be found below. For more information, contact Pastor Annette via email at Pastor@plsilvana.org

HOLDEN EVENING PRAYER:
Richelle and Dave Tripp have offered a recording of this beloved sung prayer service for your use at home. We have made copies of the service available through the church office, or you can pick one up at Drive In Worship on Sunday. Click on the link below to listen. May it bring you some moments of peace!
Not too small and not too big — just right to make it relatively easy to get to know folks and feel a sense of welcome. There are some good things about being part of a small town church.
Genuine hospitality, where there is always room for one more at the table, is one of them.
I value the friendly, open spirit in this place and how people care for each other. But just as important, “small town” does not mean small-minded. Think globally, act locally: that phrase describes us well.
At Peace we seek to embody a sense of spaciousness, where there is room to ask questions, to learn from varied experiences, to consider new ways of thinking and to continue to grow in faith and understanding.
Here you will find a spectrum of ages and backgrounds and a diversity of theological perspectives, from life-long Lutherans to those who are brand new to the whole “Christian thing”.
My hope is that what binds us together is a sincere desire to grow as disciples of Jesus, to take the Gospel call to “love one another, as I have loved you” seriously, and to deepen our public witness to God’s kingdom vision of true “welcome” for all God’s children.
Come on by, and we will set a place for you to join us.
We’re proud of our deep roots in the Silvana area, but we don’t believe in staying in the past. As disciples of Jesus, we are called to journey forward, meeting the changing needs of both our local community and the wider culture.
At Peace Lutheran you will have the opportunity to experience a hands-on faith community that cares for families, helps our neighbors and engages in larger world opportunities for service.
