Our Staff

Pastor Annette Andrews-Lux:

Pastor Annette began her call at Peace in September, 2016 after completing her first call in north Seattle. Prior to being ordained into the ministry of Word and Sacrament, she worked for several decades in a variety of lay ministries in both Catholic and Lutheran settings. She is married to retired contractor, James Lux, and they have two young adult sons, Nathan and Shannon. They make their home on the south end of Whidbey Island.

Office Administrator, Mindy Livingston:

Mindy began her part-time work at Peace in the fall of 2023. Mindy, her husband Steven, and their three children are residents of Stanwood. She keeps our church office hours, welcomes our guests to our building, oversees administrative details and keeps track of what is happening around here. She is happy to be a resource for you and help you find what you need.

Youth and Family, Mary Fuentes:

Mary has been part of our congregation’s leadership for many years. She coordinates a variety of events and outings throughout the year for all ages, as well as oversees our mission and outreach efforts. Mary also works for a local farmer and is a significant leader in many community groups.

Musicians, Richelle Tripp, Janice Bakke and Allyson Martinez:

Peace is blessed with several talented musicians that help create a variety of music for worship.

Janice Bakke started playing the piano in the third grade and came to join us at Peace recently after her family members spoke highly of the community here. We are thankful for Janice and her musical gifts on the piano and organ.

Richelle is a retired music teacher, gifted vocalist and pianist and long time member of Peace who regularly provides music for our worship.

Allyson is one of our regular pianists who enjoys playing a diverse range of contemporary worship music, is great at utilizing the musical gifts of our congregation members, and adds singers and other instruments to our services.
